Upcoming Meeting
Our September meeting will be held on Thursday September 24th from 5:30 – 7:30 pm in the Venue Room of Library 21c. Diane Stewart will be our speaker, and the title of her presentation is “Let’s Go On A Safari!”.
Thank you to all who participated in our annual black & white show at Gold Hill Mesa! It was an amazing show. Photo pickup is Tuesday October 6th from 12:00 – 2:00pm.
Field Trip to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
Our next field trip is planned for the second week of November to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. This year is the zoo’s 100 anniversary. Exact date and details will be announced later.
Upcoming Competition
Our next competition will be held during our October 22nd meeting. Themes for this competition are nature, John Fielder, and open.
Book Opportunity
A local poetry group, Last Saturday Poets, is looking for photographers to submit photos of Colorado in winter for their new book “Winter: The Colorado Perspective”. They would like to publish your photos along with their poetry. Deadline for submission is November 1st. Please see member email on how to submit your photos.
