Upcoming Meeting
We will not have a formal meeting for the month of August but instead we plan to attend the public reception for the Fine Arts Exhibit at the Colorado State Fair in Pueblo. The reception is Thursday August 27 from 5:00 – 8:00pm. The address for the fair is 1001 Beulah Ave Pueblo, CO 81004.
Our annual black and white show will be held at the Gold Hill Mesa Community Center. The images will be displayed there for the month of September. Drop off date will be around the end of August. Exact date and time will be sent out later. You will have the opportunity to enter up to 10 images. The reception for the show will be Thursday, September 10 from 5:00 – 7:30. Field Trip to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
Our next field trip is planned for sometime in September to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. This year is the zoo’s 100 anniversary. Exact date and details will be announced later.
Colorado State Fair
Please consider entering images into this year’s state fair. In lieu of our August meeting, we plan to attend the public reception for the Fine Arts Exhibition. The entry form and fee deadline is July 22. Please see our Colorado State Fair page for more details.
Volunteer Opportunity
Pack Burro Racing Photographers is looking for volunteer photographers to capture the excitement, grit, and charm of Pack Burro Racing — Colorado’s official Summer Heritage Sport.
