WITH GRATITUDE TO OUR SPEAKER ROBERT GRAY: He was our keynote speaker at our monthly meeting on October 26, IHOP. Chair of Pikes Peak Arts Council, he is an artistic engineer who was an early member of our digital photo club. He explained our club relationship with the Arts Council. During the Q & A time, he gave us added insight regarding how to apply for personal grants through the Council. Truly insightful information! He invited us to become members within the Council and experience the benefits of networking and programs.

CHILDREN’S LIBRARY PROJECT UPDATED: Charlene, representing the Hope & Home foster care organization, received approximately 90 prints from PDIS, on behalf of Jenna Opperman. She read the “Dear Friend” letter attached to the back of each print. In her remarks she noted how meaningful this collection of artworks will be to those children who are going to new homes. PDIS has a reservation to echo this project at Library 21C, July / August / September 2024.
